A little bit more about the home

In 2022, we started to ski&snowboarding in Sierra at Tahoe. We were so passionated about it and we were trying to ski as much as we can. Though, Aaron has to join some after-classes which make it that we have to do a lot of day trips to Sierra at Tahoe; It was no much fun by driving almost 7 hours each day..

After the ski season, we were thinking maybe we can buy a small home close to ski resort so that we can use that as a short term rental property while at the same time we can use it by ourselves if it doesn't get rent out. We were looking around and South Lake Tahoe was our first choice but it didn't work out due to the rental control. It's just not practical to pay almost one thousand dollar to property management company at all..

Then we started to look at the Sacramento area and Folsom becomes the No.1 city for our choices. The main reasons listed as below:

1. Close to South Lake Tahoe. It was the closet city to South Lake Tahoe which has Costco and big chain Hotels.
2. New building. Save some troubles to fix toilets, sewing system.. More important, more modern structures and comfortable air conditioning.
3. Very close to everything you would need for some fun. Movie Theaters, Restaurants, Shopping are all mostly within 5 mins driving away.

Some fun facts on the home:

1. One of the Klipsch speaker comes from our own primary home and we bought another one to make it a pair. In case you are wondering, it's model: RP-280F.
2. the middle seat of the big Swing Set can hold up to 200 lb adult. Yes, Swing is not only for little kid.
3. Memory Form Mattress for all beds! Sleep is most important and that's why we want our guests feel comfortable at bed. Who hate the extreme soft low quality beds from chain hotels as I do?!
4. You have Disney+ and Apple TV+ subscription in the smart TV. I hope that would serve you well if you need a Movie night (Don't forget we have the queen size sleeper bed in the living room!)
